Giotto & Fra

100 % handcrafted with natural sources and inspired by the Late Gothic and Italian Renaissance era, Giotto e Fra Fine Handcrafted Artist Colours & Materials, was started in 2020 by myself, artist Paul Romero.

Each color in the Giotto e Fra line has been selected to reflect the earthiness and elegance displayed in the old masters’ paintings, particularly the frescoes of Giotto di Bondone (1267 – 1337) and the Dominican friar, Fra Angelico (1395 – 1455).

With each stoke of colour, and with the use of artist tools from Giotto e Fra, you can be confident of the high quality in my products. Each paint and tool is painstakingly handcrafted and made in limited quantities. God willing, as time permits, more fine, handcrafted products will be added to the Giotto & Fra line.
