“Table Spread” Silk Scarf

Lightweight, silk Habotai scarf, 15″ x 60,” with hand rolled hem. This silk is a botanical contact print, printed with wild Coreopsis Sunflowers which grow by the thousands on our property. Sometimes I use just the petals for a beautiful orange natural dye. I harvest them responsibly so that I do not reduce the abundant population of wildflowers. I paired this one with Psalm 23:5, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies…” This silk can be used as a scarf, sash, table runner, silk around a centerpiece, window dressing, or worship/dance silk.
