“North Into South” Silk Scarf
$15.00
This scarf is printed with Pecan tree leaves and over-dyed with a dye made from wild Coreopsis Sunflowers. It is lightweight, Habotai silk with a hand rolled hem, 15″ x 60.” The leaves were lovingly picked from the Pecan tree my Dad planted in the yard of my parent’s retirement home, and the sunflowers on the same property. All our warm weather family gathering meals were held under that tree. He was raised harvesting numerous Pecan trees in North TX and loved pecans. He married a South TX girl and lived in South TX, but planted Pecan trees everywhere they lived, thus the name “North into South.”
