“Feast to Go” Lightweight Silk Scarf

Botanical contact print and natural plant dye on lightweight, habotai silk scarf, 15″x 60″ with hand rolled hem. This one is printed with Rose leaves and over-dyed with a dye made from the heart-wood of the Yaupon Holly tree which makes a golden, golden/green, or tan colored dye. It’s name comes from the day when a large flock of blackbirds covered the tree and within half an hour ate all the tree’s berries! I paired this scarf with Psalm 23:5; You prepare a meal for me in front of my enemies…” It may be used as a scarf, sash, table runner, silk around a centerpiece, window dressing, or worship flag.
