Handpaint Scarf  Hand Knit by Lavender Hill Knits 

I love to collect sock yarn, especially handpainted sock yarn.  Handpainted yarn makes super colorful socks and even more wonderful scarves.  That’s where the inspiration for this scarf came from.  

This scarf is a hand knit elongated triangle with beautiful crochet trim.  It’s feminine without being fussy.  The yarn used is a very high quality washable merino wool/nylon blend semi-solid hand dyed yarn with variations of yellow and gold.   It is wonderfully soft and light, and can be worn year round.  It is perfect on a chilly autumn night, can be worn indoors and is long enough to wrap around your neck two or three times when the winter wind is blowing.

The shape of this scarf is so versatile, it can be worn over the shoulder as a scarf or wrapped around the neck as a cowl.  Wear this scarf casually with a t-shirt and jeans or to work with a skirt and blouse or with a dress.

72″ wide from end to end, 11 1/2″ from top edge to center point

Care: 

hand wash using mild soap, dry flat.

Hand knit in a smoke free and pet free environment.
