Front Porch Fern Leaf Lace Scarf Knitting Pattern by Lavender Hill Knits
This pattern is from my Sweet Tea Scarf Collection which includes patterns inspired by all the things I love about living in the South ~ grand front porches, lush trees and plants, summer rainstorms, misty spring mornings in the Smoky Mountains, rolling hills of fall color and sippin’ sweet tea year-round. The scarves in this collection can be worn indoors or out and are equally at home with a t-shirt and jeans as a skirt or dress. They can be made using light wool sock yarn or try using fingering weight cotton. So gather your yarn and needles, a tall glass of sweet tea and settle into a comfy rocker on the porch…happy knitting!
Knits up quickly and is a great take-along project to work on while watching the kids at soccer or baseball. Or when you are waiting at the doctors office or when traveling. It’s also a perfect project to tuck into one of my small or medium knot bags, you can get this pattern for free if you purchase one of them!
This scarf can be worn so many different ways. Double it when the cold wind blows or wear it loose around your shoulders for a light layer. The scarf is completely reversible so it looks beautiful no matter how you decide to wear it! The first two photos show the scarf folded in half and held in place with a shawl pin.
